Online Business Strategies that work!

Quit Giving Away The Store

(in other words)

The Art Of Incomplete Information

What I teach you here today could really change your online business life.  It's that important and I don't just want to show you, I want to let you participate in live time with one of my real websites.

It's important that you get this because if you do, it will skyrocket your results.

Before you participate, let me explain "the art of Incomplete Information".

In fact let me expand on it and call it "the art of valuable but Incomplete Information".

Human beings come to the Internet for 1 of 4 reasons or any combination of:

  1. Entertainment
  2. Sense of Belonging
  3. Seeking information/Exchanging Information
  4. To Purchase a product or service

That's it!

Don't complicate this stuff.

If you are a smart webmaster, you'll satisfy all 4 urges since you can not read your site visitor's mind at the moment (after they subscribe to your list we'll show you how to read their minds).

Today let's discuss seeking information.

I believe in providing great content.  I just don't believe in giving away the store.

Are you doing that right now on your website?

If you want to sell products or services, is it wise to give everything away?

Having said that, I get people who contact me all the time and they say  "hey mad guy", I've done it all right.  I've got a website with 200 pages, 26 affiliate products, 326 Adsense links and a partridge in a pear tree and whatever other 12 days of Christmas lines.  I ain't made one sale.

I go take a look at their site. No wonder no one buys anything.  Why would they?  After spending 15 minutes trying to find something to buy, I found myself wading through a bunch of affiliate programs and I almost clicked off the site by taking a look at an Adsense ad.

Don't feel bad.  I used to do it too!

Here's a better strategy.

Save all your typing and communications for your eBooks, reports, membership site (things you make money on) and start learning "the art of valuable but incomplete information". Believe it or not, you can provide great content without giving it all away.

Let me set the stage for the website you're getting ready to go look at and you can follow along when you get ready to do your own.

Website: themadwebmaster.com

My End Product: Membership at Mad-U.com

Target Market: Newbies and frustrated Webmasters who want to learn how to market their products, not just build a site.

Strategy: Write 10 great articles, submit them with a kick butt resource box, that leads them to themadwebmaster.com and then wets their appetite.  I'm going to go to the next step and capture their email address and name. Then I'm going to wet their appetites some more by giving them information they can apply right now (using my autoresponder) so they'll want the main course (joining Mad-U).

So visit the website and watch it in action.  The outcome I want is for people to want more and join Mad U.  Let's see if I can pull that off.

By the way, quit being a stranger.  We miss you.

All the best,

Bio Box
